How to use the vending machine with bar code scanner
Scan the bar code
After confirming products, show the exclusive bar code in a bar code scanner area, where the bar code scanner will automatically read. The system will verify consumers’ identification of age and photos the products will be allowed to unlock from the vending machine once confirmed age over 18.
Reminder for minors
If the consumer's identity card is under 18 years old, the vending machine will fail to verify and the product will not be unlocked. At the same time, the machine will issue a broadcast to remind minors are not allowed to buy.
Generate a bar code
Consumers need to download a specified App and upload their ID card. Once this App collects their age and identity successfully, it will generate an exclusive real-time bar code. Then consumers can select the products they want from the vending machine.
Payment and pick up
The vending machine will remind consumers to complete payment after unlocked. They can choose a coin or note payment, or choose a credit card payment on the App. Once payment is done, their products will be dispensed accordingly.
